Description | Gulf Shores Youth Cheerleaders cheer for our Youth Football teams and are open to children from 7-12 years of age. Most games take place on Saturdays and practices are usually held once or twice per week. Practices are scheduled through your head coach. Registration normally takes place May - July 1st each year. Girls ages 7-12 learn cheers and halftime routines. When available, cheer squads will cheer for teams in their corresponding age groups. If needed, all ages can be combined to form cheer squads. The City of Gulf Shores will provide cheer shell, skirt, and pom poms. Players will need to purchase bloomers, water bottle, socks, shoes, and bows (colors and designs will be decided during a parent meeting at the beginning of the season).
