Who | Football is open to children ages 7-12. Offered to ALL students who attend Gulf Shores City Schools, and residents. |
| When | Practices and games will be held September - November fall season. Practice start August 1st during the weekdays (scheduled by head coach) and games are on Saturdays and some Tuesdays (depending on how many teams). |
| Where | Practices are held at Gulf Shores Middle School, and Gulf Shores High School. Games will be played at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex and various parks/schools in Baldwin County. |
| Cost | The cost is $70 for Recreation Center members, and $80 for non-members non-residents. |
Description | Players in the 8U, 10U, and 12U age groups learn fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a competitive recreation league. Gulf Shores Youth Football League participates in the Baldwin County Youth Football League (BCYFL). The league is open to children from 7-12 years of age. Most games take place on Saturdays, with practices held twice per week scheduled through your head coach. The City provides players with helmet rental, pants (no pads), and game jerseys. Players will need, practice pants, practice jersey, mouth piece, water bottle, shoulder pads, and girdle (under game pant pads), knee pads for game pants, and footwear (rubber football cleats). Registration normally takes place in May 1st-July 1st. |
