The City of Gulf Shores is committed to providing its citizens with a superior quality of life. Bicycling is a part of that commitment. Bicycle Gulf Shores was created as a venue for increasing communications between interested citizens and the City concerning all aspects of bicycling activities, events and other opportunities available in Gulf Shores.

Whether you're an avid cyclist or prefer a leisurely paced bike ride every now and then, Gulf Shores is home to enough trails and paths to give you a change of scenery each day. The island provides a number of options from rugged trails winding past century-old, moss laden live oaks and natural waterways to smooth scenic coastal paths. If you didn't bring your own bike, rentals are available throughout the island and guided bicycle tours are offered at some locations.

The City of Gulf Shores recently applied for Bicycle Friendly Community status from the League of American Bicyclists again!
