Hurricane Re-Entry Decals provide residents free parking, in otherwise pay to park spaces.
Residents receive discounted rates on recreation memberships and facility rentals.
Due to the increased population during peak tourist season, our public safety services have more man power than would typically serve our year-round population.
Gulf Shores Fire Rescue ISO Class 1 Rating: This is the highest rating from ISO, whose primary goal is to rate fire prevention within a city. Less than 1 percent of communities throughout the United States and only a handful throughout the state of Alabama have achieved this top rating. The City of Gulf Shores is the only #1 rated community south of Montgomery, Alabama.
