The City of Gulf Shores invites you to join us each month as we explore the Gulf Coast with a variety of exciting trips and events. Whether you're exploring our natural resources by water, relaxing on a sunset cruise, or attending a show at the world-renowned Saenger Theatre, you're sure to experience the Gulf Coast in a way you never have before. 

So, what are you waiting for? Join us this month and take advantage of all of the fun you've been missing! 

Bingo: November 1st, 15th, 29th 
Join us for  BINGO every Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Cultural Center and play for the chance to win prizes! Complimentary coffee, water and snacks will be served. This event is FREE.  (There will be NO BINGO on November 8 & 22) 

Pickleball: November 2nd, 6th, 9th, 13th, 16th, 27th, 30th 
Join us on Mondays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.  at the Cultural Center Gymnasium for Pickleball. This is a paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. There are member/non-member rates. Members of the David L. Bodenhamer Center are free. Non-members are required to purchase a $5 day pass. 

Memory Screening - November 8th 

Volunteers will provide a free memory screening. This is a quick and painless process that only takes about 15 minutes to complete.  Results are confidential.  Walk ins are welcome or sign up for an appointment by calling 251-968-9818. 

Thanksgiving Social & Guest Speaker - November 8th 

Beginning at 11 a.m. Patty Barton will lead a lecture on "Living an Optimal Lifestyle." Complimentary drinks and snacks will be provided.  Afterwards join us for a Thanksgiving Social for games, a raffle and a Thanksgiving feast. To sign up call 251-968-9818.  The cost is $5/person. No dish is required. 

Powder Puff Mechanics: November 11th
This program is designed for  women and teenage girls to learn the basics of auto mechanics in an unintimidating environment. Cost is $10 per class. Class will be held at the Cultural Center at 10 a.m. This class will focus on brakes and tires - changing a flat, tire pressure, wear and purchasing. 

Coast Riders: November 18th 
Join us for a fun informative bike ride along the beautiful trails of the Gulf Coast. Learn about bike maintenance, gears and changing flat tires. The ride will start at 8 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church on Fort Morgan Road (2.4 miles). Free to participate. Registration is required. Register at the David L. Bodenhamer Center or at the Cultural Center.
