Application for Appointment to a City Board or Committee

  1. City Council seeks to have diversity in making appointment to boards and committees. It is the policy of the City Council to make appointments based on the needs of the City as well as the interests and qualifications of each applicant. In accordance with the Code of Alabama, all applicants must be qualified electors and taxpayers in the City, excluding the Planning Commission. All applications filed with the City Clerk will be public record. 

  2. Current Board Vacancies:

    We are currently taking applications for the Personnel Board. This is a 3 year term. Applications will be taken until March 30th.
