The City of Gulf Shores will host its 2nd Annual Coastal Community Camp Day on Saturday, April 20 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the David L. Bodenhamer Recreation Center.
“Our goal is to provide members of our community an opportunity to learn about all of the wonderful youth camps our area has to offer and allow them to plan some great summer activities for their kids,” said Nicole Ard, Recreation Manager. “The great thing about this event is that it's a free, one-stop-shop for summer camp fun.”
According to Ard, this year’s event will feature a free opportunity for families to explore nearly 20 camps from around Pleasure Island.
Summer camps that will be in attendance include Dolphin Day Camp, Gulf Shores Swim Team, Sail Camp, Ocean Camp, Orange Beach Art Camp, Craft Farms Junior Camps, Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club Junior Camps, Summer Tide Theater Camp, Tag Team Family Fitness, Pandas Studio of Dance, Gulf Coast Tumbling, Down Under Dive Shops Camps, Fit, Fun and Healthy Kids Camp, St. Andrews by the Sea Bible School, Gulf Shores High School Athletics Camps, Girl Scouts – Beach Scout Camp, and Gulf Shores United Methodist Church Bible School.
