The City of Gulf Shores invests a tremendous amount of resources to keep this city safe and to inform citizens and guests of the latest happenings throughout the city. Here in Gulf Shores we have to continuously police bigger than what we are. The tourist seasons vary by time of year and demographic. Our adjustments to these changes are made easy due to the professionalism of the men and women of the Gulf Shores Police Department. This is present not only in the way we patrol, but the way we dispatch calls, detain inmates, and investigate crime. 

Whether you are a resident or a guest of our beautiful city, I encourage you to take in some of the many events and places the city has to offer and engage Gulf Shores Police Department employees as you see them doing their jobs.
